Revac-B Plus Pediatric Vaccine is designed to prime your child's immune system to combat the hepatitis B virus, a causative agent of the severe liver ailment known as hepatitis. Establishing immunity against hepatitis B also contributes to averting hepatocellular carcinoma in children.\n\nAdministered into the thigh muscles for infants below the age of 1 and in the arm muscle for older children, Revac-B Plus Pediatric Vaccine necessitates a minimum of three doses for comprehensive protection against the hepatitis B virus. The initial dose can be administered within 24 hours of birth, followed by the second shot at 1 to 2 months of age, with a minimum gap of 28 days after the first dose. The conclusive third shot is given between 6 to 18 months, maintaining a minimum gap of 16 weeks after the first dose and at least 2 months after the second.\n\nThis vaccination stimulates the immune system, generating robust protection levels against the hepatitis B virus in infants and young children. Thus, all three doses are imperative. Skipping or missing any doses can compromise the efficacy of the protection, rendering your child susceptible to hepatitis infection. Revac-B Plus Pediatric Vaccine is deemed safe as a standalone vaccine or when administered concurrently with other vaccines.
